Does not fit smc 250cc stinger

I have just today recieved the rack here in the UK,

Even though the rack is listed as compatible with the smc 250cc it is not compatible with the smc 250cc stinger, what's the return process as this item is not listed accurately enough, the plastic wrapping also had barossa written by hand in permanent pen, so clearly there is some idea of the many different models?
